Male fertility is as much a product of controllable lifestyle choices as it is a matter of genetics and other factors that are out of your control. That means by taking simple steps to improve your overall health, you can also increase your sperm count!
What are some of these tips?
- Eating a balanced diet, with fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Vitamins, antioxidants and other nutritional supplements found in these foods have a positive correlation with healthy sperm counts.
- Exercise and get active! Men who have larger waistlines and are out of shape have an increased chance of infertility
- Keep it cool down there. Yes, it is actually possible to lower your sperm count by exposing your testes to high temperatures. Avoid Jacuzzis and other hot environments
- Don’t use lubricants. Sexual lubricants can actually impair sperm motility, or its ability to reach the eggs.
